GREAT REASONS WE THINK YOU MIGHT LOVE TO JOIN US ON A EDUCATION TOUR:

  1. TASTINGS TAILORED FOR PROFESSIONALS

We do extensive tasting on the study trips. You will taste allocated samples that are only poured at the respective winery, distillery or brewery, alongside tutored tastings with targeted, professional learning objectives.

Here are some examples from previous tours:

  • A Sake brewer conducted a detailed tasting of differences from 3 Sakes that had the exact same specifications with differences of 1 isolated aspect of the brewing process such rice variety or no water dilution.
  • A Whisky distiller conducting a tasting difference between new make, 2 year, 5 year and 10 year old Whisky.
  1. GO TO THE SOURCE

There is no doubt that the best way to really understand the beverage that you so adore is to go there and immerse yourself in everything that makes it special. This is something you just cannot glean from books.

  1. MEET THE MAKERS

Meeting the producers is a real highlight for our tour participants. On previous trips, groups have met producers from all over the world such as DAIMON Shuzo in Katano (Japan),  Don Jacobo in Rioja (Spain), Kamoshibito KUHEIJI from Aichi (Japan), Macallan Distillery in Speyside (Scotland), and many more! These are truly unique and highly rewarding opportunities. In a professional context, meeting the producers also allows you to establish first-hand relationships with existing or potential suppliers.
