RANDALL TAN Brand Ambassador – The Macallan, Southeast Asia BIO WHISKY AMBASSADORS FEATURING: OUR RANDALL TAN BIO NEXT: Sommelier @ Burnt Ends SG 1* Michelin - Neil Simon Claudio Since 2015, Randall Tan has represented The Macallan, The Glenrothes, and Highland Park as an external Brand Advocate. With a strong passion for whisky and an innate affinity for consumer engagement, Randall now joins Edrington in a new role as Brand Ambassador.
Randall will be acting as a key spokesperson for The Macallan in Southeast Asia’s domestic market and Travel Retail. He will also be managing brand education across these regions.

Randall’s four years as an external Brand Advocate has prepared him for this new role, being previously engaged in brand experiences such as The Macallan SEA Rare Cask launch, The Macallan Double Cask launch, and the launch of The Macallan Edition Series. Apart from product launches, Randall also hosted experiential whisky appreciation and tasting sessions, as well as exclusive VIP dinner events.

Prior to that, Randall was a freelance artiste for over 20 years, juggling roles such as actor, host and emcee. He kicked off his entertainment career in 1995 and starred in various local dramas and productions on Mediacorp Singapore channels, as well as HBO Asia. With his exuberant personality and excellent gift of the gab, Randall developed a flair for presenting on television in sports and travel shows. His live-show emcee portfolio includes high profile events for clients such as Singtel, Oakley, Breitling, and Marina Bay Sands’ New Year’s Eve countdown shows.

A passionate and avid sportsman, Randall is also a charity athlete and member of the Yellow Fellows, a group of like-minded individuals who come together to run races to raise awareness and funds for the Singapore Cancer Society and Make-A-Wish Foundation Singapore.

Singapore’s Chinatown neighbourhood currently ranked #59 on the San
Pellegrino World’s 50 Best Restaurants List and #5 on the San
Pellegrino Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants List.

Burnt Ends is Claudio’s first role in Singapore. Before this, he has
worked across acclaimed restaurants from Maximal Concepts, Bjorn
Frantzen's The Flying Elk & Frantzen's Kitchen, Black Sheep Restaurants,
and The American Club in Hong Kong. Neil holds an advanced diploma in
business administration from Raffles School of Continuing Education and
several wine certifications including - Certified Sommelier from the
Court of Master Sommeliers, WSET L2, and is a Certified Whisky

Neil’s philosophy is that there is an ideal wine for each situation
and balance of flavours are key. In his leisure time, he explores
cocktail & wine bars, does photography, music, and travel.

The participants here have gone through a grueling curriculum comprising a theory and practical component, and have successfully completed.
