  • K1 Types and uses of tools and equipment
  • K2 Recipes and methods of preparing standard alcoholic beverages
  • K3 Characteristics and types of spirits used in making standard alcoholic beverages
  • K4 Effects of blending, aging and other factors on the quality of spirits used in making standard alcoholic beverages
  • K5 Basic beverage preparation techniques to prepare standard alcoholic beverages
  • K6 Effects of using various spirits, garnishes and mixers in making standard alcoholic beverages
  • K7 Types and uses of sweeteners, sours and bitters to make standard alcoholic beverages
  • K8 Pairing of alcoholic beverages with food

Duration:

2-Day full day from 10am to 6pm

Course assessment:

  • Written Assessment (Short Answers) 30 mins
  • Practical Performance 30 mins

Entry Requirements:

  • 18 years and above
  • Possess minimally a Secondary Level and/or listen, speak, read, and write English at a proficiency
    Minimum 1 month of working experience

Certification:

- Upon meeting the attendance and assessment(s) criteria, student who has access to mySkillsfuture portal will be awarded with a digital Statement of Attainment (SOA) under WSQ for Alcoholic Beverage Preparation-2:

WSQ (FSS-FBS-2001-1.2 Alcoholic Beverage Preparation - 2)

 accredited by SkillsFuture Singapore.

- Student will also be awarded with a Certificate of Attendance and a badge of attainment from The Beverage Clique Academy.
