Students register for each Unit separately. We highly recommend that students complete one Unit before moving on to the next.

  • Duration

Each unit : 4 Sessions (4 hours each)

  • Course Assessment

    • The exam for each unit is composed of 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates need a composite score of 75% to receive the credential, i.e. the scores from both exams are added together and averaged for final assessment.
    • Passing the exam for unit 1 or unit 2 alone does not confer the Italian Wine Scholar credential.

  • Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification, although it is highly recommended that you have at least attained 1 of the following credentials or it’s equivalent:

WSET Level 3 Award in Wine

Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommelier)

You must be of legal drinking age to participate in any alcohol tasting.
