We do extensive tasting on the study trips. You will taste allocated samples that are only poured at the respective winery, distillery or brewery, alongside tutored tastings with targeted, professional learning objectives.

Here are some examples from previous tours:

  • A Sake brewer conducted a detailed tasting of differences from 3 Sakes that had the exact same specifications with differences of 1 isolated aspect of the brewing process such rice variety or no water dilution.
  • A Whisky distiller conducting a tasting difference between new make, 2 year, 5 year and 10 year old Whisky.
