Image

Embark on an extraordinary journey to Piedmont, Italy's renowned wine region, where centuries of tradition blend seamlessly with modern viticulture. This exclusive study tour grants unparalleled access to prestigious wineries, including the iconic Chiara Boschis and Gaja—both offering rare behind-the-scenes experiences usually closed to the public. Chiara Boschis, renowned for her impeccable Barolos, opens her doors to us as an educational exception, while the visit to Gaja, the pinnacle of this trip, is not only exclusive but also a meaningful gesture, with proceeds donated to charity.

Explore Turin, the elegant capital of Piedmont, during your free time. Stroll its baroque streets, visit the Egyptian Museum or Mole Antonelliana, and soak in the charm of historic cafés serving the iconic bicerin. Beyond wine, indulge in Piedmont’s rich culinary heritage with traditional dishes at curated restaurants and a visit to Borgo Affinatori, where artisanal cheese aging takes center stage.

Dive into the world of vermouth and sparkling wine with immersive visits to Cocchi and Contratto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This study tour offers an all-encompassing experience of Piedmont’s cultural and gastronomic treasures.

Renowned for its distinguished Barbaresco wines, this idyllic landscape is characterized by its steep vineyards, historic villages, and charming farmhouses, all of which contribute to its unique charm and appeal. The Vermouth and Alta Langa region, nestled in the rolling hills of Piedmont, Italy, is a delightful destination for those who appreciate unique wines and artisanal craftsmanship. This area is celebrated for its rich tradition of producing high-quality vermouth, as well as the increasingly popular Alta Langa sparkling wines. The landscape is dotted with vineyards, lush hillsides, and charming hamlets, creating a picturesque backdrop for wine exploration.

At the heart of the region’s offerings is the use of local grapes, primarily the Nebbiolo and Pinot Noir varieties, which are blended with a variety of botanicals and herbs to create the distinctively aromatic vermouth.
